        On a phone, drag the left stick to move and push it to the top of the ring to sprint. Drag anywhere on the right to look. Hold Fire to shoot and keep dragging on it to aim while you fire. Hold Grenade to see where it will land, drag on it to aim, and let go to throw. Your camp trick has its own button above Reload.

        Enemy gunfire shows where it came from: a red mark on the ring round your crosshair (bigger when it is close) and a red dot on the map. Crossbows are silent and leave no mark.

        You start every life with two frag grenades and can carry three. Ammo crates give you another. They go off a few seconds after you throw them, so bounce them round corners.

        Buttons are camp money. Every knockout, assist and finish pays them straight away, and your total shows by your health bar and at the top right of the menu. Spend them on guns in the gun shop and on skins in the camp store. XP from the same things takes you from level 1 to level 100.

        Online, Join puts you in a friend's game wherever they are: a room, a match that just started or is about to end, or their single player game. After each match the room starts the next one by itself, so everyone in it plays together.

        Hits knock stuffing out of a bear. Lose all of yours and you are stuffed until you respawn. Stay out of fire for five seconds and you fluff back up. A plush bear with a red heart re-stuffs you: search it with E. Chests hold guns (the colour of the metal straps shows how rare), ammo crates refill every gun.
